PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission type screen constituted so that the perceived color of a screen surface after a light source is turned off by turning off a power source may be a natural color having no sense of incongruity, and a sheet for a transmission type screen and a back-projection type projection television. SOLUTION: The transmission type screen is attached to the back-projection type projection television equipped with a projection device for projecting video light composed of optional wavelength components. The transmission type screen has a first colored part 32 colored with a first colorant which absorbs a specified wavelength component in the wavelength components, and a second colored part 41 colored with a second colorant which presents a complementary color of the color colored with the first colorant or a color near to the complementary color, whereby the perceived color of the screen surface becomes the natural color having no sense of incongruity.
