PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus having of a unit easily handled for further increasing deodorizing effect obtained together with negative ions generated by corona discharge safe and simple and making the unit inexpensive. SOLUTION: The apparatus further enhances deodorizing effect by combining a negative ion-generating unit (a needle-like electrode 5 and a discharge electrode 4) with deodorizing fibers 1, while deodorizing effect is carried out by corona discharge of the unit, because when negative ions are generated and air flow is followed by corona discharge, the air is brought into contact with the deodorizing fibers 1.
