摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce more effective 3D sounds by extending spatiality of sound sources of contents. <P>SOLUTION: An illustrated sound source forms a plane sound source including an area of &Delta;y&times;&Delta;z by being extended vertically to a vector defined in a "direction" field based on "source Dimension" field values (0, &Delta;y, &Delta;z). Thus, when the dimension and location of the sound source are defined, a point sound source is located on a surface of the extended sound source.
