PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface acoustic wave device capable of preventing respective electrodes from being migrated and also enhancing the electric power resistance of the electrodes. SOLUTION: The surface acoustic wave device 1 comprises a comb-line electrode 3 and a reflection electrode 4 on a surface 2a of a piezoelectric substrate 2. Adjacent electrode fingers (outer-most electrode fingers) 5C, 6C in electrode fingers 5, 6 of the comb-line electrode 3 and the reflection electrode 4 are formed using Al improved in migration resistance. Furthermore, electrode fingers 5B, 6B other than the adjacent electrode fingers 5C, 6C are formed using Cu more enhanced in the electric power resistance than that of Al. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
