PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved pipe joint for base isolation, which secures its internal passage even when a flexible pipe is flexuously deformed by action of a further strong compressive load. SOLUTION: In this pipe joint for base isolation, composed by continuously connecting the flexible pipe 5 formed of a flexible material having extensibility and bendability, to respective openings 2 and 4 of a pair of pipes 1 and 3 arranged oppositely to each other, a pipe inside surface 5 m of the flexible pipe 5 is formed into a state having recessed parts M in the circumferential direction.
