A mobile communication service billing server and a method therefor are provided to re-calculate accumulated communication charges of each service by detecting service detail information only, thereby increasing re-calculation processing performance for the communication charges. If preset service detail information is up-to-date service detail information more than that of a received CDR(Charging Data Record), a billing processor detects service detail information corresponding to accumulated communication charges of each service, and re-calculates service communication charges or total service communication charges to store the re-calculated information. A billing DB stores the service communication charges and the total service communication charges for the service detail information of the CDR. A transceiver receives the CDR.
