<p>The invention relates to a method for heating of sample material by means of microwaves, and to an apparatus having a microwave area for heating of sample material. A sample plate (4) with a defined location for a heating element (2) is arranged in the microwave area (70). The heating element (2) is composed of a microwave-absorbent material, and is designed to make direct or indirect contact with the sample material (1). On irradiation with microwaves, the heating element (2) is heated, and passes the heat to the sample material (1). If the intensity of the injected microwaves is reduced, the temperature of the heating element (2) and of the sample material (1) are adapted very quickly, this allowing particularly fast and controlled temperature regulation. An infrared sensor (80) is provided in order to record the temperature. The apparatus is suitable, for example, for determination of drying residue and heat-treatment residue.</p> |
