METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REPAIRING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY PANEL

A method and an apparatus for repairing an LCD panel are provided to change the property of a color filter by irradiating laser to the color filter included in a defect pixel, thereby deteriorating light transmittance of the color filter. A bright spot present in an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panel is detected in order to repair the LCD panel(S1). If the repair of the LCD panel is possible by blackening the bright spot, the LCD panel is repaired. By irradiating laser to the bright spot which will be repaired, the property of a color filter included in the bright spot is changed to deteriorate light transmittance of the color filter(S2).
