COSMETIC COMPOSITION FOR PROTECTING SKIN COMPRISING TRADITIONAL HERB MEDICINE CONTAINED IN LIQUID CRYSTAL BASE

A skin protecting cosmetic composition is provided to show enhanced moisturizing effect, anti-oxidative effect and wrinkle improving effect by reinforcing skin barrier through blending a mixture extract of many oriental herb medicines with a natural liquid crystal base. A skin protecting cosmetic composition comprises: (a) 0.1-60.0 wt.% of a mixture of an extract of Magnolia sieboldii, an extract of Euphoria longana, an extract of Arecha catechu fruits, an extract of Cornus officinalis, an extract of Poria cocus, an extract of Ophiopogon japonicus, an extract of Rehmannia glutinosa, an extract of Glycyrrhiza glabra, and an extract of Panax ginseng; and (b) 20.0-99.9 wt.% of a natural liquid crystal base mainly consisting of lecithin, ceramide, cholesterol and a derivative thereof, and phytosterol and a derivative thereof.
