<p>A method for manufacturing a bead glass for mounting a cold cathode fluorescent lamp is provided to prevent the degradation of quality and environmental pollution by forming the bead glass from a ribbon type glass and sintering the bead glass to eliminate an organic material. A fused glass is pressed to form a ribbon type glass(S310). The ribbon type glass is pulverized to form a glass powder(S320). The glass powder is formed to a granule glass(S330). The granule glass is inserted into a press molding machine to form a bead glass mold(S340). The bead glass mold is heated and cooled under a constant temperature to be sintered, thereby eliminating bubbles contained in the bead glass mold(S350). The sintering process includes a first sintering process for heating the bead glass mold to a first temperature, maintaining the first temperature during 10 to 30 minutes, heating the bead glass mold to a second temperature, maintaining the second temperature during 10 to 30 minutes, and naturally cooling the bead glass mold to a room temperature, and a second sintering process for heating the bead glass mold to a third temperature form a vacuum state and then to a fourth temperature during 100 to 150 minutes, maintaining the fourth temperature during 10 to 30 minutes, naturally cooling the bead glass mold to a room temperature, and releasing the vacuum state.</p> |
