#CMT# #/CMT# The system has two tomographic bridges (31, 32) for measuring flow of photons and arranged around two sections of a pipeline, where each tomographic bridge comprises a determined number of photoelectric detectors. A photons flow measurement acquisition unit receives signals delivered by the detectors. A correlation unit receives reconstruction signals of single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) images and carries out a correlation between zones of the pipeline sections corresponding to a tube (30) of a fluid flow. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for measuring a velocity field of fluid flow in a pipeline. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# System for measuring a velocity field of fluid flow in a pipeline using single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) for facilitating medical diagnose for non destructive controlling of X ray or gamma ray and for radioactive tracer, and in an oil field for analyzing a chemical reactor, nuclear medicine field, and for a gamma camera and a positron-emitting tomograph (PET) camera in an industrial field. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The correlation unit of the system provides both the velocity field and the diffusion field of the fluid flow for the correlated zones of the pipeline sections in a simple manner.
