PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation which prevents the release of an offensive odor originated from a polyhydric alcohol. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation is characterized by containing a polyhydric alcohol such as glycerol, diglycerol, isoprene glycol, 1,2-pentanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, 1,2-octanediol or 1,2-decanediol, and silver or a silver-supported ceramic.
