<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of light radiated from a light source at a time when a light distribution pattern for high beam is formed. <P>SOLUTION: In a projector type vehicular lighting fixture in which the light source 1, a first reflector 2, a shade 3, and a third reflector 6 are composed rotatably in a mutually operatively associated manner mechanically between a position for a low beam and a position for the high beam, and when they are made to move from the position for the low beam to the position for the high beam, the whole light distribution pattern moves upward, and when they are arranged in the position for the high beam, the second reflector 5 that makes the light from the light source 1 concentrated to the vicinity of the focal point F of the projection lens 4 is extended to the front side farther than the focal point F of the projector lens 4. When the light distribution pattern for the high beam is formed, among the reflected light from the second reflector, the light that is not directed toward the projector lens 4 is reflected by a third reflector 6, and made incident into the projector lens 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
