<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an arsenic liquid where an arsenic liquid can be recovered from an arsenic-containing sulfide at an extremely high leaching ratio without requiring the addition of alkali hydroxide. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing an arsenic liquid, gaseous oxygen is added to slurry in which an arsenic-containing sulfide is suspended into water, further, the leaching reaction of arsenic is progressed while performing stirring, and after the reaction, the slurry is subjected to solid-liquid separation, so as to recover the leaching solution. When the leaching reaction is progressed, the partial pressure of oxygen in the vapor phase part in contact with the slurry liquid face is controlled to≤0.6 MPa. The process may be performed even in an air open system. As the water composing the slurry before the reaction, the one to which alkali hydroxide is not added can be used, but the presence of alkali hydroxide of≤1 mol/L is allowable.
