PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution of an apparatus for producing reduced water employing a DC power source 4, capable of producing the reduced water without the residual amounts of a chlorine ion, hypochlorite ion, and chlorine molecule and meanwhile capable of reducing the elution of the material composing an electrode into water to the utmost. SOLUTION: The purpose is attained with the apparatus for producing the reduced water including a pair of electrodes in a water vessel 1 and a DC power source 4 for the electrodes by adopting a platinum-plated titanium electrode as an anode 21 and a carbon electrode as a cathode 22 and further a constant current circuit in the DC power source 4 if necessary.
