PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latching device of an interior member for a helmet, used when the interior member is disposed in a cap body of the helmet, whereby the interior member can easily be disposed in the cap portion of the helmet. SOLUTION: This latching device of the interior member for the helmet has an engaging portion 17 which is disposed at the end portion of an extended portion 15 extended from the central portion 13 of the interior member 3 of the helmet 5 and at a place near the end portion and is engaged with a bracket portion 19 provided at the cap portion 7 of the helmet 15, disposing the extended portion 15 in the bracket portion 19, moving the extended portion 15 only in one direction to bring the portions 69, 71 of the engaging portion 17 into contact with the bracket portion 19 and resiliently deformed, and recovering the resiliently deformed portions 69, 71 to the original shapes after being moved by a predetermined distance, thereby latching the engaging portion 18 with the bracket portion 19.
