The invention relates to a fitting assembly for a window or a door, comprising an angle iron (1) and an opening arm (2), wherein the angle iron (1) has a first iron part (21), on the fixed frame, for coupling the angle iron (1) to a hinge part on the fixed frame with a hinge axis, a second coupling fitting part (20), on the casement frame, for coupling the angle iron (1) to an opening arm (2) that is to be fitted on the casement frame, wherein the iron part (21) and the coupling fitting part (20) are fastened to each other, at least in the unfitted state, in such a way that they can be turned with respect to each other by 180° and, at least in the fitted state, can be locked with respect to the turning movement in the end positions of this turning movement (6), and the coupling fitting part (20) and the opening arm (2) together have a coupling device (131, 132, 141, 142) for coupling the coupling fitting part (20) and the opening arm (2), and wherein the coupling fitting part (20) is formed by an angle-shaped piece of sheet metal with two portions (11 and 12).
