<p>The protective guard (30) has an elongated cover having extensions (32,33) respectively at its opposite ends. Each extension has a pivoting structure disposed thereon and respectively coupled to a pivoting structure of each of two spaced apart arms (22,23) of the peeler to accommodate pivotal movement of the cover about the blade (21) of the peeler. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a Y-shaped kitchen peeler; and (B) a method of protecting a cutting edge between arms of a Y-shaped kitchen peeler.</p> |
