<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variations in optical characteristic in imaging in a direction of arrangement of refractive index distribution lenses in an electro-optical device provided with a convergence lens array. <P>SOLUTION: An electro-optical device 1A is provided. The electro-optical device 1A includes a light emitting panel 20, the converging lens array 40 having a plurality of refractive index distribution lenses 41 transmitting light traveling from the light emitting panel 20 forming an image which is an erect image of the image on light emitting panel 20 arranged in one direction and having the images obtained by a plurality of the refractive index distribution lenses 41 composing one continuous image and a spacer 80 which is interposed between the light emitting panel 20 and the converging lens array 40 and transmits the light traveling from the light emitting panel 20. The spacer 80 is provided with refractive index distribution part in which a plurality of members (a member 81 and a member 82 or a member 82 and a member 83) with different refractive index are connected in the direction of arranging the refractive index distribution lenses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
