<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-structured deodorization apparatus having a cost-effective configuration. <P>SOLUTION: An inlet 9 and an outlet 10 are formed in an enclosure 1. An air channel connecting the inlet and the outlet is equipped from the upstream side of itself with a first heat exchanger 5a, a catalyst 3 having an absorbing part for absorbing odor components and a decomposing part for decomposing the odor components, and a second heat exchanger 5b. Odor components of treated gas is absorbed by the absorbing part of the catalyst 3 during absorbing operation, and the odor components absorbed by the absorbing part are decomposed by the decomposing part during decomposing operation. The first heat exchanger 5a is switched from cooling function to heating function, and the second heat exchanger 5b is switched from heating function to cooling function between the absorbing operation and the decomposing operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
