A wastewater treatment system (20) comprising: a carbon dioxide injection means (3) which injects carbon dioxide into a wastewater resulting from silicon processing to obtain a raw wastewater to be treated; a wastewater tank (2), a filter membrane (11) through which the raw wastewater is filtered; a liquid feed pump (9) which sends the raw wastewater to the filter membrane (11); and a circulation/liquid feeding control means (30) which, when the amount of the raw wastewater present in the wastewater tank (2) has decreased to below a normal amount, can send concentrated water or both concentrated water and filtered water to the wastewater tank (2) and which can regulate the pH of the raw wastewater to 4.0-6.5 and send this wastewater to the filter membrane (11).
