摘要 An LCD device is provided to enable a common voltage generator to generate a common voltage which has a voltage value varied according to a change of an LCD panel temperature, thereby compensating that the common voltage value is changed while load on the LCD panel is varied according to the change of the LCD panel temperature. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device comprises an LCD panel, a driving unit, and a common voltage generator for temperature compensation(18). The LCD panel is formed to each of areas divided by data lines and gate lines and includes pixels connected to a common electrode line in common. The driving unit drives the LCD panel in response to video data. The common voltage generator for temperature compensation includes a voltage distribution circuit and a TH(Thermistor). The voltage distribution circuit includes at least two resistors. The TH is connected to one of the resistors in parallel. The common voltage generator for temperature compensation comprises a first resistor(R1), a second resistor(R2), the TH, and a switch unit. The first resistor is connected to a VDD(drain voltage) voltage source. The second resistor is diverged from a first node(n1) connected to the other end of the first resistor to be connected to the first resistor. The TH is connected to the second resistor in parallel. The switch unit turns on/off the TH selectively.
