METHOD OF OPTIMIZING ON/OFF TIMING OF REGISTRATION ROLLER

A method for optimizing on/off timing of a registration roller in an image-forming apparatus is provided to control the driving time of the registration roller, thereby preventing curls from being excessively generated on paper between a pickup roller and the registration roller. An image-forming apparatus includes a registration roller and a registration sensor before entry of the registration roller. The elapse time after driving of the registration sensor is checked while the driving time of the registration roller is checked based on the driving time of a pickup roller(530). After the registration roller is driven, it is checked whether the elapse time from an initial time passes a set time(560).
