A film for improving a contrast, a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) filter and a display device having the same are provided to improve the contrast ratio of a screen without reducing the brightness of the light emitted from the PDP. A film for improving a contrast includes a plurality of stripe patterns(20). A cross section of the stripe patterns is a rectangular or a parallelogram shape without a change in width, or is a plurality of trapezoids or a triangle shape which gets narrower from a film surface. An absorption ratio of the stripe patterns is larger than or equal to 25/mm. An inner corner of one of adjacent patterns, which is close to the other pattern, is connected to a surface corner of the other pattern, which is close to the one pattern, through a line(30). An angle between a tangential line and the line is 15~50°, where the tangential line is perpendicular to the film surface.
