A flange type pipe and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to secure stable connection between pipes by integrally forming a flange part with a body part. A flange type pipe comprises a body part having a cylindrical shape(20) and a flange part(30) provided at an end of the body part. The flange part extends from the end of the body part and is bent to the outer side. A subsidiary flange part(40) having an integral structure is coupled to an outer circumference of the body part. The subsidiary flange part has a diameter larger than that of the flange part, and includes a plurality of bolt coupling holes(42) formed at an outer side of an edge of the flange part. The subsidiary flange part moves lengthwise along the body part and rotates in the circumferential direction of the body.
