An image processing apparatus, an image processing method and an imaging device are provided to remove noise of an image by substituting a pixel value per each pixel without detecting noise even when an input image is an image having noise on edge. A feature image generator(102) generates a predetermined feature image from an input image. An interpolation value calculator(104) calculates plural interpolation values for interpolating pixel values per each pixel based on the feature image generated by the feature image generator. A correction value calculator(106) calculates a feature value per each pixel from the input image, and calculates correction values for correcting each of the plural interpolation values calculated per each pixel on the basis of the feature value. An interpolation value corrector(108) corrects each of the plural interpolation values, calculated per each pixel by the interpolation value calculator, on the basis of the correction value per each pixel calculated by the correction value calculator. A correction image generator(110) corrects the input image based on the interpolation value per each pixel corrected by the interpolation value corrector.
