<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological information reading unit which fully prevents dust, dirt, or the like from accumulating on a biological information reading surface. <P>SOLUTION: A biological information reading part reads the finger vein pattern of a user as biological information and informs a controller of the finger vein pattern read. A reading table 30 is rotatably attached to a rotating shaft 30a. When the biological information of the user is authenticated, a biological information reading part 3 rotates and drives the reading table 30, and thus it becomes a reading status with the biological information reading surface faced outside the body, and when authentication of the biological information of the user is completed, it rotates and drives the reading table 30 again and returns the state to a standby state, with the biological information reading surface facing the inner side of the body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
