<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disturbance of image reading caused by drawing out or storing a paper feeding cassette during scanning of a document scanning portion. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device 100 comprises a document reading device 120 provided on a device housing 110 of the image forming device 100, and equipped with the document scanning portion 123 reading an image of a document by scanning; the paper feeding cassette 140 storing a predetermined quantity of sheets, and movably positioned between a storage position stored in the device housing 110 and a drawing position; a lock member 146b capable of locking the paper feeding cassette 140 at the storage position; and a control portion 200 controlling to carry out locking by the lock member 146b when the document reading device 120 reads an image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
