PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system capable of performing various types of processing steps such as the camera control of a high order according to a subject and a photographing scene, image synthesis, image correction, and the like. SOLUTION: The photographing system comprises a camera and a processor. The camera creates image data obtained by photographing and transmits the image data and additional information relating to photographing. The processor receives the image data and the additional information transmitted from the camera, performs information processing using the received additional information and transmits, to the camera, information data obtained by the information processing. The additional information contains the rough location information of a point of photographing whose input is accepted by the camera, for example. In the processor, location information with high precision in comparison with the rough location information is derived from the image data transmitted from the camera and the rough location information using map information owned in advance, and the location information and image data of a map corresponding to the location information are transmitted to the camera as information data.
