PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design evaluation device and program that can measure the dimension based on designed three-dimensional CAD (Computer Aided Design) data and can evaluate measuring items without omission even if the dimension of each part for an evaluating object cannot be measured automatically. SOLUTION: A measurement control means 12 reads an execution file corresponding to each measuring item of a part to be evaluated from an execution file storing means 11, and sequentially executes it. The execution file is created by incorporating a measurement command and guidance included in the CAD according to the contents of each measuring item. An operator 2, following a command of a guidance, commands the measuring position of the shape of the part to be evaluated formed of the CAD data. A measurement result acquiring means 14 acquires the measurement result measured by the measurement command, and a measurement result evaluation means 15 evaluates whether the acquired measurement result establishes the condition of a dimension constraint 404.
