PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition mixture, block units and a box unit for treating radioactive liquid waste by solidifying it and also scattering lead of a certain grain size or smaller around the solidified waste to shield against radioactivity and a method for treating the radioactive liquid waste. SOLUTION: The structure in this invention for treating the radioactive liquid waste is characterized in that the box unit with a certain capacity is formed by piling up the block units made by mixing 100 weight part of pit sand with an average grain diameter of 1 to 2 mm, 30 to 50 weight part of lead with an average grain diameter of 20μm or smaller, 15 to 30 weight part of portland cement and some quantity of a nonionic surface active agent and solidifying them and that the composition mixture constituted by blending 100 weights part of pit sand with an average diameter of 1 to 2 mm, 30 to 50 weight part of lead, 10 to 20 weight part of charcoal, 10 to 20 weight part of portland cement and some quantity of a nonionic surface active agent is filled into the box unit.
