PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of suppressing manufacturing costs and obtaining excellent pixel signals and a method for manufacturing the image device. SOLUTION: The imaging device according to a first aspect of the invention is provided with a first photoelectrical conversion section, a second photoelectrical conversion section, a charge storage section, a first transfer gate that transfers the charge accumulated in the first photoelectric conversion section to the charge storage section, and a second transfer gate that transfers the charge accumulated in the second photoelectric conversion section to the charge storage section. The first transfer gate is extended aslant to the disposition directions of the first photoelectric conversion section and the second photoelectric conversion section, and the second transfer gate is extended aslant to the disposition direction.
