PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Ni-plated steel sheet excellent in sliding property and corrosion resistance and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the Ni-plated steel sheet excellent in sliding property and corrosion resistance, an oxide film containing one or more kinds selected from Al, Si and P is formed on the plated surface and pin holes are sealed. The formation of the oxide film and the sealing of plating pin holes are preferably carried out by anodic electrolysis. The Ni-plated steel sheet is treated with anodic electrolysis in an aqueous solution consisting essentially of a triphosphoric acid alkali salt and further containing a silicate and/or aluminate.
