PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve power saving, miniaturization and lightening in weight, and to facilitate maintenance and cleaning for a water duct line. SOLUTION: This electric instantaneous water heater includes a bottomed cylindrical thermal conductive container body, which is so constructed that a truncated conical hole tapered downward is provided inside, a conical recessed part tapered downward is formed at the lower end to make the bottom, and a hot water supply outlet is provided to penetrate the central part of the recessed part. A spacer shaped like a thin cylinder is fitted to the inside. The spacer is provided with a plurality of water duct line cutouts formed continuously from the upside to the lower side at equal spaces in the circumferential direction. A thermal conductive core is fitted inside the spacer to such a position that the upper parts of the water duct line cutouts of the spacer are exposed to the upside. A first heating unit is wound round the outer peripheral surface of the container body, and a second heating unit is wound round the periphery of the hot water supply outlet at the bottom of the container body. A circumferential groove deeper than the outer peripheral surface where the first heating unit is wound is provided in a boundary part between the container body where the first heating unit is wound and the container body bottom where the second heating unit is wound, The container body is covered with a heat insulating cover.
