PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of increasing pressure of working fluid in a working chamber and efficiently sending out the same from a delivery port. SOLUTION: This vane pump is provided with a rotor 3 stored in a rotor chamber 2, a plurality of vanes 4 provided on the rotor 3 and having a tip thereof contact and slide on an inner circumference surface of the rotor chamber 2, and the working chamber 5 surrounded by the inner surface of the rotor chamber 2, an outer circumference surface 3a of the rotor 3, and the vane 4 and changing volume thereof by rotary drive of the rotor 3. A suction port 6 sucking working fluid into the working chamber 5 in a volume expanding process, and the delivery port 7 delivering working fluid from the working chamber 5 in a volume reducing process are provided.
