PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharging method capable of preventing a liquid crystal arranged in parts surrounded with a sealing material from coming out of the sealed locations and a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal panel. SOLUTION: In an arrangement area Z for each cell 101 of a mother glass substrate, a cross-shaped liquid crystal F is arranged in such a way that the liquid crystal F is arranged close to four corner parts P1 of the sealing material farthest from the center Co of a rectangular frame-shaped sealing material 102. When wet-spread, the liquid crystal F arranged in the arrangement area Z comes in contact almost at the same time with the corner parts P1 of the sealing material 102 and the central parts P2 on individual sides of the sealing material 102 nearest to the center Co, thereby eliminating the possibility of undesirably early contacting some locations and ensuring thorough and uniform arrangement of a liquid crystal in areas surrounded with a sealing material 102.
