PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe for driving an automobile by which an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal are stably operated. SOLUTION: The shoe for driving an automobile has a heel portion 5 at a shoe sole 4, and the back side of the heel portion 5 includes an inclined surface 5B gradually raised toward the back side as viewed from a side. The inclined surface 5B has a first surface portion 5a formed outside in the width direction and allowed to make contact with the ground when pressing the accelerator pedal, and a second surface portion 5b formed inside in the width direction, having a surface state different from that of the first surface portion 5a and allowed to make contact with the ground when pressing the brake pedal.
