A method of forming an alignment film is provided to produce an alignment film with improved alignment power to improve the display quality of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) employing the alignment film. A substrate is prepared(S1). A polymer alignment material including a disulfide group is coated on the substrate(S2). The disulfide group of the polymer alignment material is cut to form an alignment material including a mercapto group. The alignment material including the mercapto group is rubbed(S4). The rubbed alignment material is oxidized to form a polymer alignment material including a disulfide group(S5,S6). |
