PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulating type bill processor having a plurality of looped circulating type bill storage parts for different kinds of bills, and collecting bills in one place from each of the bill storage parts in the shortest period of time at closing time or the like, while positively achieving miniaturization, without increasing the size and cost of the device due to installation of special collecting cassettes other than the bill storage parts. SOLUTION: First bills in a looped circulating type first bill storage part 20 are conveyed one by one to a temporary retaining part 30 via a temporary retention route 5C and accumulated by a predetermined number. Thereafter, a bundle of first bills in the temporary retaining part is conveyed at a time into a looped circulating type second bill storage part 25 via a collecting and conveying route 5D.
