摘要 A transistor outline type laser diode package having a tilt mirror having a controlled rear reflectance and a method for manufacturing the same tilt mirror are provided to radiate laser light to a monitoring light receiving element without loss by reducing a reflectance of a rear surface of the tilt mirror. A laser diode chip, a tilt mirror(100) having a tilt angle of 45 degrees, a monitoring light receiving element are arranged in a line. A single dielectric thin film or a double dielectric thin film having different reflective indexes is coated on a reflective surface of the tilt mirror so that the laser light emitted from the laser diode chip is reflected on a reflective surface of the tilt mirror. A rear surface of the tilt mirror has a reflectance lower than a reflectance of a tilt mirror preform and a reflectance of an air layer. The monitoring light receiving element is installed at a monitoring light receiving element sub-mount in order to receive the laser light emitted through the rear surface of the tilt mirror.
