A method for providing customized information according to time in a navigation device is provided to enable a user to recognize needed information on a desired time point and receive a service related to the recognized information by providing a function like a schedule management function to the navigation device. A navigation device stores customized information from a service provider server or an external terminal(S110), and the navigation device checks over notification of the preset customized information(S120). The navigation device compares a scheduled time of the customized information with a current time when the notification of the customized information is checked(S130). The navigation device provides the customized information to a user when the scheduled time is matched with the current time(S140). The navigation device provides a service linked with the customized information(S150). The customized information is one of the information stored in the navigation device, and the information made by the user and a service provider. The linked service includes a position/contract guide related to the customized information and route setting of the related position. |
