PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand truck which can be turned around by an easy steering wheel operation even for a large load by a simple mechanism. SOLUTION: The hand truck has a pair of turnable front wheels 7a, 7b and a pair of turnable rear wheels 13a, 13b on a back side 8 of a base cargo loading face 3. The pair of front wheels 7a, 7b and the pair of rear wheels 13a, 13b are coupled with each other by a front link mechanism 12 and a rear link mechanism 17 for interlocking the direction of one wheel with the direction of the other wheel. A coupling link 18 for interlockingly turning each pair of wheels in the directions opposite to each other is provided between the front link mechanism 12 and the rear link mechanism 17. A pair of traction wires 21, 22 for turning the rear wheels 13a, 13b in one direction or the direction opposite thereto are coupled with wheel holders 14a, 14b of the pair of rear wheels 13a, 13b. An interlocking lever 25 for alternately pulling the pair of traction wires 21, 22 is provided on a steering wheel part 4 erected on the base cargo loading face 3. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
