PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition capable of providing a crosslinkable resin suitable for an electric material or the like used for an electric circuit board, and to provide the crosslinkable resin obtained by using the polymerizable composition, and a crosslinked body or the like having excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy, dielectric characteristics or the like. SOLUTION: The polymerizable composition comprises (a) a cycloolefin monomer, (b) a metathesis polymerization catalyst, (c) a crosslinking agent, (d) a compound releasing water by heating, and (e) an oxide of a group 6 to 12 metal in the fourth period, wherein the ratio (e)/(d) of the metal oxide (e) to the compound (d) releasing the water by heating is 0.001-0.1 by mass.
