<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wasteful consumption of recording capacity of a recording medium when so-called vertical photography is performed with a compound eye digital camera. <P>SOLUTION: The compound eye digital camera with a plurality of imaging means comprises: a detection means for detecting whether or not photography is the vertical photography; a recording means for recording images obtained by a part or the whole of the plurality of imaging means in the recording medium; a shutter button for instructing the photography and a control means for controlling the recording means so that the images obtained from a part of the imaging means among the plurality of imaging means are recorded in the recording medium when the vertical photography is detected by the detection means and the photography is instructed by the shutter button. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
