PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic-inorganic composite powder reduced in the shrinkage in polymerization and easy to have a preferable fluid flow characteristic. SOLUTION: The organic-inorganic composite powder which is obtained by mixing, hardening and crushing a polymerizable monomer composition imparting a crosslinked polymer by curing and the inorganic particles, is subjected to the treating process by charging into a treating space of the powder treating system provided with a first member carrying out a repeated movement and a second member carrying out a movement different from the first member or not moving, wherein the composite powder is subjected to the treatment with the first member set so as to move with≥20 m/second of a linear velocity and≥10 times/second of repeating frequency.
