A method for production of Bacillus velezensis A-68 producing cellulase is provided to mass economically produce cellulase by increasing the growth rate as compared to the growth rate of filamentous fungi and mold by using agricultural by-products such as rice hull or rice bran, so that the productivity of cellulase is enhanced. A Bacillus velezensis A-68(KACC 91178P) producing cellulase is produced by culturing the strain in a broth medium containing a carbon source, a nitrogen source and inorganic salts at 30-40 deg. C for 3-5 days, wherein the carbon source is selected from rice hull, rice bran, maltose, fructose, sugar and glucose, preferably 1-10%(w/w) rice hull; the nitrogen source is selected from yeast extract, peptone, malt extract, tryptone, ammonia sulfate and ammonia nitrate, preferably 0.05-1%(w/w) yeast extract; and the inorganic salts include 0.5%(w/w) K2HPO4, 0.1%(w/w) NaCl, 0.02%(w/w) MgSO4.7H2O and 0.06%(w/w)(NH4)2SO4.
