<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent hot water shortage in a heat pump water heater. <P>SOLUTION: A first electric switching valve 13 is disposed in a first flow passage FP<SB>1</SB>through which water in a hot water storage tank 1 is circulated, a second electric switching valve 14 is disposed in a second flow passage FP<SB>2</SB>for supplying high temperature water stored in the hot water storage tank 1 to a hot water mixing valve 11 on the high temperature side, and a third electric switching valve 15 is disposed in a third flow passage FP<SB>3</SB>for supplying low temperature water from a water source, respectively. Fourth flow passages FP<SB>4a</SB>, FP<SB>4b</SB>connecting the first electric switching valve and the second electric switching valve to each other, or the first electric switching valve and the third electric switching valve to each other. High temperature water heated by a heat pump type heating apparatus 4 is directly fed from the first flow passage to the hot water mixing valve on the high temperature water side through the first electric switching valve, the fourth flow passage, and the second electric switching valve without being circulated through the hot water storage tank, or is directly fed from the first flow passage to the hot water mixing valve on the low temperature water side through the first electric switching valve, the fourth flow passage, and the third electric switching valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
