PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a calculation node to which calculation processing is assigned in consideration of the time required for changing the running state of software in a distributed processing system. SOLUTION: A node information acquisition means 1b continuously acquires environmental information showing running software from calculation nodes 2a, 2b and 2c, and stores the information in a node information storage means 1a. A request receiving means 1a receives a processing request 3a containing environment condition information showing software necessary for execution. A node selection means 1d compares the environmental information with the environmental condition information for the calculation nodes 2a, 2b and 2c, and preferentially assigns to a calculation node where a small number of new software is started.
