PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the visibility of a program picture and to facilitate selection of a channel. SOLUTION: A RAM 12 of a digital broadcast receiver is provided with a program information storing part 121 for storing, for each receivable program, channel identification information being information for identifying a channel and program information including program start time information and end time information, an MPU 11 is provided with a retrieving part 114 for retrieving a program that can be received at the present time and coincides with a preset condition among receivable programs stored in the program information storing part 121 and acquiring the channel information corresponding to an adequate program being the retrieved program and a transmitting part 115 for transmitting to a remote controller channel information of the acquired adequate program, an MPU 26 of the remote controller is provided with a second display control part 261 for receiving the channel information of the adequate program transmitted from the transmitting part 115 and displaying the channel information on a second display 22.
