<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manage original information which an image forming apparatus outputs by using coordinate value showing a position on a virtual plane. <P>SOLUTION: In an original information management system, coordinate value (X, Y) on the virtual plane 30 is used to manage the original information which each image forming apparatus outputs. In the management server, when the original information is outputted in any image forming device, an area on the virtual plane 30 is uniformly allotted to the outputted original information every page in prescribed order. Also, the management server registers area information and information on the original information to a database every allotted area in association with each other. Thus, each coordinate value (X, Y) in the area allotted every page is printed in a matrix as a two-dimensional code 40 which is visible or invisible onto an original image of the page, for example, in printing the original information in the image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
